Turns out the UAI cutoff for Architecture @ UNCLE this year was 85. Canberra it is then. Yay.
Last night, I got pulled over with mum in Newt, with L-plates on the back because I only have my P's for an auto. Turns out I can't do that like I could've ten months ago. It seems P-platers who got their license in an auto are never expected to learn how to drive a manual - no, apparently those skills come free with the green P plates and you don't have to worry.
So $189 and 2 out for 4 demerit points for me. Isn't that swell. I love learning.
Also, to add to the happy vibe I've got going here - guess what I caught at 4:30 in the morning. Yep. The mouse that evicted me from my room and left me to the couch three nights ago. Dad & I trekked out to the ceremonial street-lamp lit corner by the bush, and slowly greased the mouse up and pried him from the trap's gluey clutches, and had him free by 5am.
I'm not particularly happy today, and I don't know if I'll be particularly happy tomorrow, either.

ReplyDeleteaaahhh!!!! poor thing [insert all encompassing hug]. welcome to the 'I just got fined' club.
ReplyDeleteOr you could look at it like this - Canberra has an excellent, dry climate - your skin will be like porcelain; one day later, and it would've been double-demerits; and now you don't have the pesky mouse in your room anymore. All things considered, I think it's looking pretty "up".
